Visual Work
This consists of mixed media sculpture, comprising handmade paper, wax, textiles and plaster, as well as collages, paintings and drawings. The major focus being a sense of place, belonging and personal identity. Photographic images also feature in both my art and as subjects for study and analysis.

- 2000
- M.A. Dissertation entitled 'Local Landscapes and a Sense of Belonging: The Social and Cultural Significance of Landscape Photography in the late C20th', based on archival research, oral history interviews and individuals' photographs, analysed and interpreted in conjunction with theoretical texts on social/cultural history and anthropology and, in particular, with texts based on the theory of landscape as cultural process.
